jason and i were lucky enough to finally make a group of friends! matt, mark, gavin, tyler and anthony. we met matt one night last week at the bar, and got into conversation because he was also from canada. we got his number, and ended up hanging out just about every day since then! it feels good to have a good group because when you're bored and it's raining, sitting alone in our apartment is no longer the only option. four of them are from winnipeg and one is from cairns, an area in north-eastern australia.
yesterday, after a long day of accidentally getting sunburnt at the beach, we headed over to their house to hang out. they don't live far from us, but have a completely different view. from their balcony, you can see the river and a much better view of the buildings.
